To strengthen its commitment and dedication in its services to the students, Cagayan State University Lasam Campus concluded the Virtual AACCUP Accreditation Survey Visit for its three programs, today, November 15, 2023.
Said AACCUP Accreditation is a testament of the continuous effort of College of Teacher Education, College of Information and Computing Sciences, and College of Industrial Technology as they received the final recommendations from Dr. Manuel A. Sanchez Jr., the Overall Coordinator of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines, Inc.
Dr. Sanchez Jr. presented notable recommendations specifically the strengthening of acquiring National Certificates III and IV mainly for the College of Industrial Technology.
He also challenged the university to become ISO Certified to have a global standard and also to ensure quality education.
On the other hand, University President Dr. Urdujah G. Alvarado, PhD, promised to ensure the university's dedication to execute the accreditor's recommendations.
"The university pledges its commitment to fulfill the following recommendations from the accreditors", said Dr. Alvarado.
CTED Dean Dr. Jehan U. Gerardo delivered the closing remarks and emphasized the challenge by the AACCUP to the whole academe.
"This accreditation serves as a platform to reach new heights of academic excellence and we should always continue to strive for innovation", Dr. Gerardo stated.
