Cagayan State University Lasam Campus has known to be “THE GIANT KILLER”. Students at the said Campus are in good terms of extra-curricular activities and excellence in academics. The University of Lasam might be small in size but they can provide a high quality education to their students.
Cagayan State University Lasam Campus conducted an orientation program on the 13th day of August 2019, at the DARP Hall of CSU Lasam. The Campus Executive Officer Florante Victor M. Balatico Ph.D, delivered his welcome address for the freshmen students followed by Mr. Dominador Agatep’s for his inspirational message. After which, Engineer Dante Dexter Agatep, the municipal mayor, also gave his speech on how to become an effective leader. After the speech of the Mayor, the open forum part started wherein the students asked questions about the topics that all the speakers talked about and the speakers kindly answered all of it understandably one by one.
Overall the program was successfully finished and the flow of the program was smoothly done with the help of all the faculty and staff of CSU Lasam Campus.
The goal of the orientation program is to help the students become familiarized with the rules and regulations of the university and also to become acquainted with the university officials, faculty and administrative staff of the institution.
