In a significant boost to technical education, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) recently awarded scholarships to ten deserving individuals through its Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP). The recipients, who are enrolled in the College of Industrial Technology's Electronics Department at Cagayan State University Lasam Campus, received their scholarships on February 21, 2024.

Before receiving their scholarships, the recipients underwent rigorous assessment for the National Certificate II in Electronic Products Assembly and Servicing Competency. This assessment, conducted by Competency Assessor Mr. Reynaldo T. Dizon and TESDA Representative Mr. Dante C. Ferrer on December 12, 2023, ensured the trainees were competent in their field.

The scholarship grant, which includes training and assessment for the Electronic Products Assembly NCII program, represents just one of the many benefits available to the trainees. Furthermore, on December 13, 2023, the allowance distribution for the chosen scholars was overseen by TESDA Representative Mr. Eyrol Vince R. Cajucom.

The grantees completed a comprehensive 33-day training program from October 23 to December 13, 2023, marking a significant step towards their career advancement in the field of electronics.

Expressing their gratitude, CEO Florante Victor M. Balatico and Campus TVET Coordinator Inst. Ronald Constantino commended the TESDA program for its invaluable support towards fulfilling the educational needs of the students.
