OIC-President Engr. Arthur G. Ibañez visited CSU Lasam to determine the campus’s problems and to plan possible interventions, and at the same time meet the faculty and staff, yesterday at the DARP Hall.

CEO Florante Victor Balatico opened the meeting then went on highlighting his heartfelt gratitude for having been visited by the OIC President.

OIC Pres. Ibanez, on the other hand, discussed the budgeting for each campus, and put emphasis on CSU-Lasam as one of his top priority campuses.

He proposed that in order to maximize the land area of the campus, backfilling certain areas would be a significant move, to which he estimated and allotted a budget.

In addition, he also emphasized the significance of standardized syllabi, curriculum, and quizzes all throughout the campuses in order to maintain good performance and passing rates in the board exams, which, according to him, can be made possible by coordinating and harmonizing all the satellite campuses.

The three college deans were also asked regarding the necessity-based issues faced by each college, and fortunately, suggestions and requests were entertained and approved by the OIC-President.

Regent Mark Jellicoe Rodillas was also given the chance to present his proposed project on gender-affirming comfort rooms and the OIC-President showed his support and assured Rodillas of his assistance in finishing said project.
