Seven students of the College of Information and Computing Sciences (CICS) from Cagayan State University (CSU) Lasam Campus clinched multiple awards at the university-wide Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Skills Competition held at CSU Aparri Campus on March 12, 2025.
Steven Barangan, a third-year student exemplified his graphic skills and artistic prowess, securing second place in digital slogan-making competition.
Moreover, Elaiza Mae Sambrano, a sophomore, took her stand about Artificial Intelligence (AI) accountability and secured third place in the extemporaneous speaking.
Furthermore, Micaell Cauilan and Andrison Quebral landed 4th place in the Dynamic-Web design competition, and Jea-Rhoeu Sian, Adrian Agustin, and Diana Rose Molina placed 4th in the ICT Quizbee.
CICS Dean Jake G. Maggay, DIT, expressed his fulfillment with the students' performance and highlighted the value of the said competition.
"Proud ako sa mga student participants. Hindi man nanalo ang lahat, masaya pa rin ako kasi nagkaroon sila ng experience," the Dean stated.
