To enhance service quality, Cagayan State University–Lasam Campus (CSU-Lasam) conducted a Training Induction Program on June 20, 2025, for scholars under the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) in Electronic Products Assembly and Servicing (EPAS) NC II.
Dr. Jose Francisco "Kiko" B. Benitez, Director General of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), delivered a keynote message, emphasizing the important role of technical education in fostering a skilled and competitive workforce.
Mr. Giovanni Ventura, TESDA Specialist II from the TESDA Cagayan Provincial Office, discussed the scholarship’s implementation guidelines and outlined the benefits provided to the trainees—including full training cost coverage, trainee allowances, and other post-training services embedded in TESDA's TVET System support services.
The program is intended to equip scholars with industry-relevant skills and improve their employment opportunities in the electronics sector.
