In a significant step towards creating a safer and healthier community, Cagayan State University (CSU) - Lasam Campus joined the University's simultaneous launching of the Kaagapay sa mga Aksyong Makakatulong upang Paigtingin ang laban sa Ipinagbabawal na Droga (KAMPI) Campaign today, December 2, 2024.
The campaign, which aims to promote awareness, prevention, and intervention against illegal drugs, was launched in a ceremony attended by Campus Officials, students, and members of the faculty and staff.
CIT Dean Mr. Wilfredo Perciano highlighted in his speech the devastating effects of illegal drugs on individuals, families, and communities. He emphasized the importance of unity in the fight against drug abuse.
"Together, we can make a difference and create a drug-free and brighter future for ourselves and future generations." the Dean stated.
Furthermore, Cherry C. Sanut, OSDW Coordinator, shared the objectives and significance of the KAMPI campaign, emphasizing its role in promoting a culture of wellness and resilience within the community.
Through this initiative, the CSU LASAM community reaffirms its commitment to creating a safer, healthier, and more prosperous community for all.
