After being hailed as the champion during the RHEPC 2024, Associate Editor of The Ripple Norielle Pastor proved his writing prowess once again as he bagged the lone podium finish for Region 2 in Sports Writing English category in the Luzonwide Higher Education Press Conference held at Villa Caseres, Naga City, Camarines Sur, March 19-21, 2024.
The Lasameño pride in Sports writing secured the tenth spot in the said category besting other writers from the six regions.
Pastor’s LHEPC run, together with his coach Assoc. Prof. Janilete R. Cortez, also ended the winning drought of the school’s publication in the LHEPC.
Pastor was also the lone qualifier who represented Cagayan State University- Lasam Campus in the said event.
