Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) officials conducted an inspection at Cagayan State University (CSU)-Lasam today, March 14, evaluating the institution's readiness to become an accredited center for two new programs: Bread and Pastry Production NC II and Driving NC II.

The accreditation process was conducted by Ferdinand Corpuz, the lead inspector for Driving NC II, and Kristine Joy Tomas, the lead inspector for Bread and Pastry Production NC II, both from TESDA-LIT.

The evaluation process included a comprehensive compliance check of the campus' tools, equipment, and training facility infrastructure to ensure it met the standards required for an assessment center.
Additionally, they checked the compliance of CSU-Lasam with safety and industry standards to ensure that students receive quality training.

If the programs receive accreditation, CSU-Lasam will expand its technical-vocational offerings to three programs, alongside its existing Electronics Product Assembly and Servicing NC II.
