In its continuous quest to support CSUans' emotional and mental well-being, the Peer Facilitators' Club (PFC) celebrated its 2nd Anniversary today, December 12, 2024 at the DARP Hall, with the theme PFC-GLOW: Gain, Live, Own, and Win.

During the opening program, Assoc. Prof. Judelyn Cantor, College of Teacher Education (CTED) Dean, expressed her insights about PFC and emphasized its role in providing a nurturing environment.
"It is a home for all of us, guided by the kindest persons have I ever met. I wish I had this supportive community during my studies. Everyone faces challenges; having someone to lean on truly matters", the Dean stated.

Dr. Ronabelle A. Ramil, Campus Guidance Counselor and PFC Adviser, delivered an informative session on depression management, symptoms and coping strategies, emphasizing the importance of mental health management.

Meanwhile, part of the anniversary celebration was the culmination of the 18-day campaign to end Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC), featuring a Mental Health Symposium and impactful activities aimed at promoting empowerment and social change.

In the afternoon, Dr. Ramil led a gender sensitivity and equality training for the second-year students, which featured engaging activities designed to raise awareness and encourage meaningful participation.

The event concluded with Campus GAD Coordinator Michelle P. Soriano who conveyed the importance of fostering equality, respect, and understanding among individuals of different genders in her closing message.
