Cagayan State University Lasam Campus' faculty, students, and administrative employees convened at the Darp Hall to recognize the vital role of non-teaching staff in fostering quality education with National Education Support Personnel Day on May 16, 2025.
The event commenced with an opening address delivered by Asso. Prof. Wilfredo M. Perciano, Dean of the College of Industrial Technology (CIT), who emphasized the crucial role of the support staff in the institution’s overall operations.
Furthermore, Dr. Florante Victor M. Balatico, Campus Executive Officer, shared a heartfelt message, honoring the dedication and sacrifices of administrative personnel.
Asso. Prof. Dominador A. Agatep Jr., CIT faculty member, gave a timely and informative discussion on Republic Act 12178 and its significance in institutionalizing recognition for education support personnel.
On the other hand, to foster a sense of community and shared experience, the employees had a fellowship lunch, and a dedicated Wellness Booth, offering massage services, was made available for the campus’ administrative staff, creating a relaxing space to promote well-being and express appreciation.
The continuation of the program maintained an energetic and dynamic atmosphere, as three competing teams showcased their talents in Show Choir and Ballroom Dance Competitions.
