LASAM, Cagayan – Third-year students of Cagayan State University- Lasam Campus recently underwent a successful workshop aimed at developing their research writing skills with the theme "Navigating the Research Journey in Undergraduate Studies," today, March 11.
The workshop commenced with the opening remarks of Asst. Prof. John Carlo Banan, Campus Research and Knowledge and Technology Management and Publication (KTMP) Coordinator, who emphasized the importance of research in undergraduate education, which was followed by Asst. Prof. Wilfredo M. Perciano, CIT Dean, who delivered a message highlighting the essence of the seminar-workshop.
Moreover, Dr. Gilbert Magulod, University Director for KTM and a renowned expert in research methodology and academic writing, discussed his topic Mastering the Art of Research Paper Writing: Crafting Chapters 1 to 3.
Furthermore, afternoon session transitioned into a practical workshop, where students engaged in hands-on exercises and created sample research papers aligned with their fields of expertise.
