Reiven Jenery Racca, a first year Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) student at Cagayan State University Lasam Campus, secured the top spot in Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Summer Camp Training 2024 at Camp Melchor F. Dela Cruz-Annex, Soyung, Echague, Isabela, with her 94 percent score in their class.
Racca expressed her surprise at ranking, credited her dedication and focus in class, and voiced the happiness of bringing pride to her parents during an interview with 104.9 XFM Santiago.
"May times na pumapalya rin ako sa quizzes at hindi ako ang pinakamataas, so nung na-announce po na ako yung top 1, syempre nasiyahan po ako kasi may iuuwi po akong award para sa mga magulang ko”, said Racca.
When asked about her plans in the coming years, Racca is hopeful to become a servant of the government as an AFP officer, taking inspiration from the country's uniformed personnel.
