LASAM, Cagayan – Cagayan State University (CSU) Lasam Campus held its Panagyaman ken Pammadayaw on July 3, 2025, a heartfelt celebration honoring the outstanding achievements of its students and recognizing the efforts and sacrifices of their parents.
The program commenced with opening remarks delivered by Prof. Florante Victor M. Balatico, Campus Executive Officer (CEO), who reminded the graduating students about the importance of gratitude and humility.
"Lagipen yu kuma: Awan kaes-eskan dagiti gunguna nga intay ragpaten nu awan ti puso a managyaman ken managpakumbaba", the CEO stated.
Delivering heartfelt tributes to their parents, Caril G. Macasaddu from CICS, Carla Jean E. Sian from CIT, and Jenelyn V. Butay from CTED spoke with sincerity and pride, honoring the love, sacrifices, and support of their families. In response, selected parent representatives— Mrs. Rema C. Guitang, Mr. Gilbert Enrique, and Mrs. Anabelle T. Vitin— shared their reflections, offering words of encouragement and recounting the journey that led their children to success.
Furthermore, Hon. Dannah Paula T. Agatep, Vice Mayor of Lasam and the event’s esteemed guest speaker, delivered an uplifting message, urging the graduating students to lead lives rooted in purpose and compassion.
"Live with intention. Share your goodness to the people around you, and give your heart to others— whether through service, leadership or simply choosing to uplift others in our everyday life, or simply spreading kindnes", the guest speaker stated.
The 47th Academic Convocation is scheduled to take place on July 7, 2025 at Natalged a Lasam Arena (NALA).
